The Why, How and Benefits of Sponsoring BCA
What was once a rundown building is now Birtle Centre for the Arts (BCA), a thriving hub, where people of all ages come together to acquire skills, explore creativity and experience fellowship. How did this happen? The way all things happen in a small town. Volunteers organized and built. Businesses and individuals contributed. Together, our dream of a thriving art centre has become a reality.
BCA is a community centre of intergenerational creativity, serving Birtle and the surrounding area. We provide classes several days a week (in non-covid times) for children, teens and adults. Participants have the opportunity to explore arts and crafts including clay, painting, drawing, woodworking, metal work, sewing, fibre arts, creative gardening and more.
BCA offers some of the few non-sports activities for youth in our area. It is a place where they can develop skills and confidence. The activities BCA provides are practical, fun, and encourage self-expression. But we need your help to continue this work.
How can your business or organization get involved? It is due to support from the community that we are able to operate BCA. You can select from different levels of sponsorship and benefits outlined in this to our Sponsorship Form or call us to discuss other arrangements. Each and every sponsorship is appreciated. The Birtle Centre for the Arts receives no government operating grants, no core funding. In other words, it is your support that helps us to grow and develop Birtle Centre for the Arts.
